King Deramo’s search for a wife is undermined by the evil prime minister Tartaglia. Mayhem ensues, and paranoia threatens to unravel the whole kingdom, but love emerges triumphant in this riveting and hilarious commedia dell’arte classic.
The lighting design for this show makes use of shadow puppetry, projected throughout the theatre using handheld pen lights, to portray the magic that is central to the story.
This show was performed at the 2019 Toronto Fringe Festival.
